It takes 75 working days to build a single aircraft and the assembly hall in the structural build up shop can fit 4 aircraft at a time
Thats 19-20 units per year maximum but with holidays bit less, thats normal they built 18 in the busiest year

Here is the 4 at structural build up
5th unit is FC10255 or 2P-55
6th or 2P-56
7th
8th or 2P-58
So overall 58 x Block II identified so far
That’s 108 units of JF17 I and II
Plus 3 x JF17B so 111 overall

They will probably add 4 more units in 2018

Anyone knows whether the many dots in the picture above are rivets, spot welding or ?
And also in the above, what are the long bulge as well as the rectangular silver/grey area grill like feature?

I once had a similar idea, however this thread is not only related to aircraft in PLAAF service but also to types and equipment related to the Chinese aviation industry, so in fact I would prefer to let it here ... by the way, Myanmar is also flying that type.
HMS were thought to be an integral part of Blk III upgrade with HOBS missiles. Though a lot of details have come forward but still no word on HMS.
No specific details of Chinese HMS are being shared. Looking west Havelsan made Turkish solution may be the only other affordable alternative.
Similarly no word on IRST. When Selex displayed their AESA with IRST, thoughts were it was JF 17 focused.. but no word on finalized concept.
