On a side note all Block 1 aircrafts are now upgraded to block 2 standard, so Pakistan has 100+ Block 2 Jf-17 in 5 squadrons excluding the squadron at CCS. Not bad in 11 years since first two JF-17 came in March 2007.

I thought this upgrade was to take place once Block I aircraft were due for overhaul at JF 17 factory Kamra. Have they all underwent overhaul / rebuild?

There were ni structural changes in blk1 and blk2. The changes were attributed to software, cockpit oxygen generator and some senor changes. All are incorprated into blk-1.... no major overhall was needed

That's the Phoenix insignia from the newly raised JF-17 28th squadron based out Quetta.

Some LRU locations were made.more accessible, I do hear to reduce turn around and maintenance timings.

And I thought they do not mix American & Chinese equipment. The reason why we haven't seen any US equipment or even Erieyes participate in Shaheen series of Sino Pak exercises.

They are carrying a lot of tanks for DACT aren’t they?

The US will not allow PAF F16s to be accessed by China, but they cannot object to PAF flying their F16s against other PAF fighter types.

Although F16s and Chinese equipment cannot datalink with each other, so needs a 3rd asset to act as relay.
