Good bird interesting small fighter and nose surely about 1000 modules what radar ?
Jas-39E have ES-05 Raven with 1000 modules for range depends also modules quality and electrical power.

The proposed radar is KLJ-7A. From the interview of the chief designer it has more than 1000 t/r modules. Last time I heard is Pakistan was evaluating another radar from the West.

Depending on who you ask, it is either better than AN/APG-81 or worse than a garbage can.

Is that even a screenshot of JF-17? Some details don't look right. Pitot tubes? The black painted anti-glare area in front of the cockpit? (Russian planes usually have that. though the array itself doesn't look russian)

Why would any one think this is Psed Dafeng take on the subject He is known to be careful with his blog. I don't think it is Psed
Type KLJ-7A radar AESA testbed, the one for JF-17 block Ⅲ.

Hi,

Suppliers just don't give up that easy---. It could also be a backup---in case you forgot about the Paf's fiasco with the French for an earlier EW package for the JF17.
