4月27日JF-17B枭龙双座00批01架机的首飞成功,代表了枭龙战机系列化发展的一个重大里程碑,也是中航成飞大力提升枭龙战机在国际市场上竞争力的一个重要举措。



JF-17B BC01架机,然而BC的含义未知相对于JF-17单座机,JF-17B的主要改进为:增加后座舱,采用整体侧开式座舱盖;重新设计更高更宽的背脊,调整背部仪器舱和油箱的布置以腾出空间安装后座舱;重新设计更加后掠的垂尾,以配平飞机重心;换装更强劲的座舱环控系统,以适应两名飞行员的需要;优化机内油箱布局以降低安装后座舱对机内油量的不利影响,增加了垂尾和边条油箱;前起落架配备新型LED着陆灯等等。


作为一款战斗教练机,除了双座舱外JF-17B机身最大的变化在于新设计的背脊。JF-17B的背脊与JL-9山鹰教练机相对圆滑的背脊有所不同。其顶部和侧面更加平直,线条更加分明,内部容积更大,有点象米鳖的F-16F Block60,西方气息更浓,在用户眼里颜值超高。背脊内部除了航电设备外,还安置了大型油箱。此外JF-17B还在垂尾和两侧边条内部增设了油箱,使其内部油量基本上保持在与JF-17单座机相同的水准。当然由于机身重量和阻力的增加,JF-17B的最大飞行速度和航程均略有降低。
