'IF' ignore some the off-shelf shelf systems 'integrated' then its 100% indigenous ... its not something high tech BUT as per Indian propaganda American gave us this thing ....

1- Pakistan got Ch-3 form China & it was duly acknowledge by the Pakistan Army in its internal official publications, than we swap some of its systems with non-chinese/ indigenous systems such as
1- Zumer EO pod (indigenous product)

2- now using modified indigenous Ground Control System GCS (which is also used for another local unarmed UAV named UQAB in service much prior to CH-3 induction )
Thanks ... but that's exactly my point like I said "system based on a Chinese one" or am I wrong ? Airframe-wise it is de facto a modified CH-3.
And so was my question concerning this range extension kit: I only asked if it is based on a Chinese system, maybe in cooperation ?? Nothing more.
nor i said you were wrong ...I even acknowledge it by saying that some of the systems were swapped by Pakistan .... I just mention the differences ...

nothing was said by anyone which can link it to LS series of Chinese origin .... most of the arguments which came from Indian sides link it with American JDAMs but they fail to realized that we got approval for JDAMs in 2006 with 18 F-16 blk-52 sales & first F-16 blk-52 was received in 2009 or 2010 before that we had no JDAMS available to us ... secondly we only got 500 JDAMS from US that too during 2010-2014 ....

now the best part of this development is the next step for which I am waiting ... is the integration of locally developed laser guided bomb, H-2 & H-4
this will leave only RA'AD (air launch cruise missile) from locally developed SOW inventory out for integration with JF-17, other than this almost all of Mirage Jet weapon package will get integrated with JF-17 .... which mean half of the journey will be completed for the retirement of Mirage III/V

I think one piece of military equipment that Pakistan could potentially export to China is the Ra'ad missile. Aside from the GB-6A (which isn't a true ASCM per se), the PLAAF/PLANAF is lacking a long-range, low-observable cruise missile system.
