Not Likely. ACM Sohail has plenty of responsibilities and I do not think actively marketing JF-17 is one of them. One can not even speculate based on this visit.
@ Zahid agreed in principle but in such high level meeting all matters of mutual interests are discussed. I believe those mutual interests include JF17 too. It wont be marketing as such but strategic details, if any, can and will be discussed. If Egypt is interested in JF17, ACM Sohail is THE PERSON to talk to.
They may talk about it...but it is highly improbable that Egypt will opt for any.
Right now they are taking delivery of the last of about 240 F-16 aircraft which is the mainstay of their Air Force. These are all relatively new and capable aircraft that are well integrated into Egyptian service.
They also just recently ordered the Rafael from France. 24 were ordered with 12 more available. They have already taken delivery of three of them, and the Rafael already represents the Egyptian "option," for developing a second source for modern aircraft. And Egypt has a long standing history with French aircraft use.
With this in mind, it is, as I say, highly improbable that they would bring a completely different modern aircraft into their inventory. It would create a logistical and training nightmare for them precisely at a time they are trying to rid themselves of numerous dissimilar legacy aircraft.

...having said all of that, I forgot that Egypt has something of over 100 Mig-21s still in service. They have talked to the Russians about the Mig-35 to replace those. Egypt does have a long standing history with Russia too for large numbers of legacy aircraft.those.
I suppose if there was any place JF-17s could fit into Egypt, that would be the place...or perhaps to replace the 60 or so J-7s they still have in service being uses, as I understand it, for initial jet training purposes..
Time will tell.
