sri Lankan Daily Mirror said:
The aircraft is state-of-the-art fighter air planes that are manufactured jointly by China and Pakistan.

The report in Daily Mirror said there is no substance in the reports carried by foreign media that Sri Lanka is planning to become the first foreign buyer of JF-17 Thunder aircraft. Sri Lankan Air Force has still not made up its mind in this regard, it said.

It quoted, Sri Lankan Air Force spokesperson, Wing Commander Gihan Senevirathne as saying that ‘although both Pakistan and China have indicated the availability of the fighter jet and proposals have been submitted on the availability of the aircrafts, SLA has not made any decision on purchasing them.’

I hope this doesn't turn into JF-17 version of the "Su-35 sale to China" news every few months. When you just read Sri Lanka is the first buyer of JF-17, and then you have the Sri Lankan Air Force spokesperson denying there are any deals signed make JF-17 look bad and desperate for buyers like Su-35. :(

Concerning Sri Lanka, the news was the have been offered credit. We concluded they had signed a deal. Having a mortgage offer does not mean buying a house. Sri Lanka is admitting there has been talks. Just that nothing has been finalised.

For all we know they may not even agree to the terms of credit.

well the Pakistani and Chinese officials never mentioned that the buyer is Sri Lanka. It was just a speculation on the behalf of media due to the letter of credit. Maybe the first contract signed was not with Sri Lanka but with another country

JF-17 has been secured the export country is not confirmed

Some new images and many new serials looks like PAC is going into overdrive with production
Also sir if you remember, JF-17 project director said in an interview that 29th block 2 will fly by the end of this year with an IFR probe. if this is indeed the case then PAC has ramped up the production

Yes that is indeed a good point

But 29 units !? Well looking at the current rate I think that's doable but it will be a big push as deadlines are always delayed

But so far so good and scores of units are under ways at PAC they look busy as ever, good for the aviation industry for Pakistan and they should do more aeronautics and a aviation courses at University's to recruit more home grown talent for JF-17 project

Super Mushshak, K8 and JF-17 are a great pipeline
