Japanese have a plan to deal with Chinese new 094 nuclear sub

Members, This dissicussion is to be about how the JMSDF would defend it's self against a type 94. Not N.Korea and the like.

I think PLA built this sub as a counter measure to American nuke-sub, but Japanese seems get a bit anxious about it. One Japanese media said Chinese has successfully tested a the JL-2 missile which has a range of 8000km to 12000km in March 2005.

Japanese also critise Chinese for aiming hundreds of ballistic missile at them. I don't know when PLA has deployed so many missiles.

Would you rely on another country protecting you from WMDs? Yeah, right!

I've said it before, Japan has no nukes, so there is no threat - just the ability for Japan to defend itself from Pyongyang. There simply won't be enough interceptors stationed to protect Japan from Chinese/Russian nuclear attack.

If North Korea is the sole target, then a couple of SM3 based AEGIS platforms would surfice.

You need a backup in case your first line of defence is bypassed/unable to respond.

What if Cuba, like Japan, wanted the same?

Then we would have another , and deployment of NMD in Florida and other Eastern states as well! Why? Because today BMs are the best & least expensive deterrant!

Since that is so, if one subscribes to China's claims of no first use, then Japan's ballistic missile shield should be in no way provocative to China.... unless one subscribes to the view that China's nuclear weapons are aimed at a non-nuclear Japan with the intention for them to be used. Which would then dictate that you NOT subscribe to the view that China intends to abide by its no-first use policy. Sorry, both are mutually exclusive. Can't have your cake after eating it.

Guo Ziyi is a famous general in the Tang dynasty. Some people consider the late Tany dynasty survived solely because of him.

There are also disperancy in the amount of troops Guo sent, some Chinese text stated that Guo had simply thriteen riders as scouts but the Tibetan text stated there were two hundred. Nevertheless, it is a great victory, and when Guo Ziyi arrived with his "large" force of militia, Daizong appeared to him and stated, "If the country had just use general earlier, this would never happen.「用卿不早，故及於此。」"

Japan has own Japanese Anti-Missiles-Umbrella, Nukes, Biotechweapeons !
Otherwise Japan would help it self so a stupidity, not China sea-strike forces with aufbaunen, areas of desires of its protecting power the USA!

Japan does not have its own nuclear or biological weapons, nor does it have an indigenous anti-missile shield that can protect against ICBMs and other long-range ballistic missiles.
