You mean like how China's first lunar satellite Changhe-1 required little to no course corrections on its journey there because China's calculations were so precise?

Journalist Ted Koppel has been for the last several years been trying to get permission to do a documentary on the Chinese military but they have yet given him permission and access. And that was when he was working for the Discovery Channel. He's not working there anymore so I have no idea if he's still pursuing it.

Well "Ted Koppel" is actually Alfred C. Neumann from MAD Magazine, so they are prolly just a little leery of that dude! AFB

Those model plane at zhuhai can be found on eBay. They are metal and do not require much assembly skill.

That takes the fun out of it... Don't know if Jeff or Brat would be interested. However metal models are more durable.

Metal is much better, because even though I'm old, I still play with my toys, I have a small die cast Flanker with canards and a Mig-29 to go along with the 2 F-22s, 2 F-104s, 2 F-18s, an F-4 Phantom, coupla choppers Russian Black Shark and the LAH prototype, so yes I would love a diecast J-20, and a J-31. My grandson Ben always runs me off my computer so he can fly the aircraft on my Flight Sim X and the acceleration pack has a large military chopper and an F-18, I also have the YF-23 on the flight sim along with a Captain Sim C-130 package, and yes I can slow roll the 747 without too many probs, lots of airspeed and a pitch up to approx 15 degrees, airbus junk, -no way it will roll thanks to the FBW. But yes my grandchildren love to play with those little die-cast models from Wally world, made in China, every one LOL! BRAT

But I want a real J-31 for Christmas, so I would be Shenyangs first customer, LOL!

Oh, and no aft mounted deltas yet so the J-20 would get me started, then I might buy a Eurofighter?

Nice air force. For me, I'm a modern air force fan ever since my first Itari F-15 (quality sucks) and the Independence Day movie. Back in the days I had 2x 1:32 Su-27UB, 1x 1:32 Su-37, 1x 1:72 Mig-29, 1x 1:32 F-15J, 1x 1:48 F-117A, 1x B-1, 1x 1:48 F-18E/F, 1x 1:48 Su-34, 1x 1:48 F-35, 1:32 AH-64D, 1:72 AH-1W, but they were built when I was in my early high school days, so they sucked.

Nowadays I'm building a new air force consisting of handpicked selections of symbolic 4th gen and 5th gens(with meaningful careers or designs, such as Eurofighter, J-10B, Rafale = delta wings and they are almost roughly in a similar class), and they're all 1:48 and one of each: F-15C Eagle, F-22 Raptor, F-16C Falcon, F-18E/F Superhornet, Eurofighter, Rafale, J-10B, F-15K SLAM, AH-64D, UH-60 , Chinook. I'm gonna get me a Su-37/Su-30(if my old one is still around)very soon, and wait until the F-35, J-20, J-21, PAK-FA to be in service before I get those too, and finally finish my career with E-2 AWACS, (A)C-130, and a team of M1A2, L2A6, Type 99A2, Challenger, Merkelev

Sounds about right. One of the guys at Zhuhai said that one of these models costed a couple hundred yuans.
AFAR, cheapest J-20 in 1/200 scale (other were of 1/72 and seems even 1/48 scale) was about 200 yuan
giant Ka-31 with a TV-set sized box was 1600 yuan
so I'd better use my modelling skills for 1/72 Trumpeter kit
