As for using the FW's door to determine which side we are looking at the aircraft, it's valid because it hinges on the left side when the aircraft faces us...

That's obviously correct. I was thinking only about the symmetry of door. Actually there's asymmetry in the difference in colour of the 2 sides of the door, and telltale sign of the door blocking the view of the FW in relation of the nose.

Who do we think took these super clear pictures? Wall climbers? Tree climbers? I can hardly believe so.

Hope we don't need to wait another 15 months for 2003.

Over on the Chinese forums, there has always been a school of thought (or guess): The 01 or 02 after the 20 with 2001 or 2002 means a block. That's to say: 2001 is not one plane but a block of them. Further, the 2001 block's got about 7, running all kinds of tests. Therefore, this 2002 should be the eighth J-20 produced so far... :) Now if that's true, we shouldn't feel bad at all to wait another 15months or longer for the 03 block to come out, for that block probably would be the pre-production one. And it is believed by many over there that the initial production run would be in 2005.

I hope we could see an open nose radome of the J-20 with a radar fitted (as with the J-10B quite some time ago) somewhere in the not too distant future.
BTW, are there any videos about the first flight of 2002 yet?

With J10 we had 1001 1002 etc
With J20 we have 2001 and now 2002... I see no reason to think that there are many not known J20's. Surely you will have a structural test version and a wooden mockup but this is not a cheap plane you just make a few for pre-testing. That is my opinion.
