J-20 model has a sleek and compact design for all aspect stealth. Just like the real thing. RAM coating costs extra.

In this comparison shot, we can see the J-20 is a little longer and wider than the J-10.

Great model kit.. But Stealth plane is bad for model kit. Cause you can't hand weapon payload outside anymore. Haha...

Whoever made those made me almost jizz my pants, but merely 'cause I'm a plane+ modern fighter jet model fanatic!! For me, I'd definitely wait until the J-20's final production to come out first before making the purchase. Prototypes to me, aren't too fun, especially the fact we might see TVC in the future, and the final production model of the J-20 will be different.

And I agree with Lion's statement, although I'll say it also depends on two other factors: the make and the size. If it's made by Tamiya, which is a very renowned brand with quality and detail, then you'll get a better product with more stuff to make. In addition, if your model is a large one, you might get more details for it as well.

I used to have 2 Su-27UB, Mig-29, F-117A, F-15J, Su-37, Su-34, F-18E/F, F-22, F-35, AH-64D, AH-1, B-1 Too bad they're all made when I was a kid, so it wasn't made all that nice.

After nearly 8 years apart, I'm gonna revive my hobby, but this time as adult + much more knowledge on making models and about these aircrafts. Since I have a 1/48 F-15C right now(unopened), I will go collect the following planes in the same ratio: F-16, F-22, Su 37, J-20,J-10, EF-2000, Rafale

I'm planning to collect 3 models from the US, 3 models from Russia, 3 models from PRC, 3 models from Europe, so right now I need 1 more from PRC and Russia. Which model will you guys collect for these 2 forces?

Colonel
me too.. I use to built model airplanes but have stopped in the past 15 years. Need to revive that hobby but the paint is too darn expensive! I personally like Hasegawa/Tamiya brands.
