I'm pretty sure that's implied.

Sorry but that first image is only a ps-manipulated image based on a true photo but a CG PL-10 & open bay added via ps.

Thanks for pointing that out. Unfortunately I don't have 2011 in my own collection.

Here I find one from the theaviationist.com. It seems that the modification to the bay was there already. It seems that the modification was done immediately after the 200x bay test.

Are you sure this is J-20? J-20 has a one-piece canopy (with strengthening frame), this is a two-piece.

The US also used 4th until they heard the Russians were using 5th, then their egotistical inner lizard brain decided "screw that, we can't lose by naming conventions" so they changed to 5th as well.

China, on the other hand, doesn't give a damn, and is sticking to her own classifications.
