Didn't know Jeff was in trouble, my best wishes to him!

Yes, he's been fighting cancer and associated symptoms for over 5 years, he has a thread on that war on here, if you pm him, he'll steer you in the right direction. He's asked us to lift him up in prayer.

Thank you for your kind thought and best wishes, bless you today Bub.

Off topics. I have been visiting to this site on and off for around ten years, to learn military and geo-political knowledge from your discussion. It's been sad to learn the information about Jeff's illness. Wish him all the best and all the guys happy new year to the Year of Rooster!

thanks t2, he would be flattered, but embarrassed, he was just like he looks in this picture,,,,a real hero, I never caught him in a lie, or even a slight embellishment. He was polite, a quiet "ladies man", and you're right, I had trouble getting a date?? but I'm married to a very beautiful woman, I have 7 beautiful daughters and two rotten boys.

thanks Bub, it means a lot!

you have 9 kids !?

OT but just had to say
My Sporting Hero Steven Adams, who plays for Oklahoma Thunder(I talk about him in the Sporting thread) is one of 18 children. His father is Navy.
Just goes to show..... NAVY DOES IT BETTER

and by the way Brat

My cousin crewed the first C130 in its delivery to the RNZAF in 1965.
The pilot Squadron Leader Bradshaw was a tall man and banged his head on the door arch in front of waiting reporters and cameramen.
Despite the aircraft having undergone a modernisation and structural improvement programme to ensure that they last until 2025, they are now showing serious signs of rust.

My hero, I don't know how he and his wifey manage.

Yep, we both ended up with "losers" the first time around, I had 4 daughters, Honey-Badger had an older daughter and twin boys? We had all the fun we could handle and did not intend to "rack em up", and they all lived with us most of the time. We had a miscarriage when my Dad was undergoing adult stem cell treatment for cancer at Wilford Hall in San Antonio, the old USAF Medical Center. I felt so bad I suggested we have a baby when she felt healthier, and we ended up with the twins. They were the glue that sealed our family, lovely ladies, they will be 19 in April.

So nine living children, one with the Lord, and one that we both claim that was Honey Badger's step-son from her first marriage! God has been good to us, but we both still have to work hard, but they are each one precious, not perfect, but precious! LOL We've been married 22 years, like Maverick Mitchell says, "its looking good so far", LOL. I've thought about writing a book "Geezer DAD!", I'm 60, and the Honey Badger looks 35, LOL....

Now back to J-20, I do imagine they are planning on a very powerfull, sophisticated radar and avionics sweet, something as comparable to the F-22 as they can, not sure how they are planning on networking as the F-35 weapons suite does, but I'm sure they will come up with something functional and interesting!
