a new J20 bird

Not sure how recent it is but if indeed a recent one it would proof that 2101 is still not painted and the one without a number and low-viz. markings must be another bird.

By the way I posted this image already on Saturday (https://www.sinodefenceforum.com/j-20-5th-gen-fighter-thread-v.t7303/page-237#post-411109).

PS: The J-20 appears on the Zhuhai 2016's airshow-leaflet !?? (page 6)

I think it'll be a great opportunity to unveil it to the world and showcase its capabilities. However, I don't think that China is interested in exporting the J-20 any time soon. What's the incentive then for bringing the bird along?

Exactly my thoughts. They have indeed no interest to export that bird, but it would be a major PC-coup to show the world its latest fighter (even if it is not for sale).

The US did the same with the Raptor ... and the Russians with the T50 (even if they are eager to sell).

Anyway ... let's hope even if I have higher hopes to see FC-31.V2 at Zhuhai.

Interesting that the leaflet shows the older J-20 Tech Demonstrators rather than the current prototypes/LRIP birds, maybe either 2001 or 2004 will show up?

EOTS takes much more than two years to develop. It's really hard to imagine that they broke into LM's website, downloaded some files, reverse engineered them, modified J-20 and installed the system on it after the first J-20. ;-)

Come on, we're better than that on this forum.
