What is temporary about that airbase?

I thought the J-15 are staying there for the parade only. Not sure if that is the same base, but here is a pic from FYJS showing 24 shelter.And 10 occupied.

I saw it on CCTV 4 half an hour before 9.00am Beijing time today, it was the simulated aircraft carrier training base for new J-15 pilots, with the take-off ramp and 200 meter long run way, and located next to the sea.

The J-15 were to be take off here for the parade.

That is a GREAT pic!

I can make out 113 for sure...but 114 is not clear, if could be 117, or someother teen" number. The structure is in the way.

I tried to enhance...but it did not help:

Well, thats 14 single seaters confirmed so far. Plus we know twin seaters have been developed so there are bound to be several of those out there too.

I counted 24 hangers.

That means 24 J-15s for CV-16
