Good question, however I expect - esp. from the WS-10B installed in the '1035' prototype - that externally they have no differences, in the same way You can't differ a AL-31F from an FN only by the feathers.

Not sure how confirmed this link or report about a J-10A or AS is ... but this nozzle looks IMO more like a WS-10 than an AL-31FN !! :huh:

Saw the news on CCTV, it was reported engine failed. The pilot had to eject below recommended safety altitude because he had to glide the aircraft away from residential areas twice.

The video footage showed conversation between ground control and the pilot minutes before he ejected.

... but what do You think about the engine ! Do we know, where this crash occurred ?
