    Actually mounting a missile pointed slightly downward is very common. I have seen so many photos on all air forces, Eastern bloc, western bloc, neutral countries etc.

    I am not engineer so I cannot comment on the technical aspects, but my layman's guess is that it actually provides lifts as in the same effect as aero-foil, though in cylinder form instead of a wing shape, the lift generated could be to off-set against the weight of the missile. My 2 cents. though I could be wrong.

    good guess, considering 0303 was from exactly a year ago ... perhaps by the end of this year close to finish 4th batch

    about - or in fact - slightly more than 150 J-10B and C together, since all Batch 01 aircraft are called J-10B and from Batch 02 they are J-10C.

    Large missiles points downward on the ground because when the aircraft at level flight they actually become straight to airflow since the nose will be angled upwards.

    wingtip missiles are sometimes angled to control the wing tip vortexes + the reason above.
