Not sure, I think the 1100 km is on a clean configuration with no external tanks or stores.

It is certainly very difficult to evaluate these numbers since only manufacturers and some operators deliver them with reservations, only to their most reliable allies.

My personal fantasy is to put Flanker style LERX on J-10 and reduce the sweep angle of main wing. This should improve sustained turn rate of delta-canards. Basically the idea of Song's high lift small aspect ratio paper applied to J-10.

IMO it is a lot less structural change. Though I believe J-10 will not receive any major change pass the C variant, hence my calling it a fantasy, wish I can go back in time and tell song about his own idea before he design J-10...

MAWS located in the DSI sides seems to be covered or maybe blurred.
Any clear photo of J-10C MAWS (front and back)???
They seems a little bit small compared with the previously fited in J-10B base tail.
