Accumulated snow and the leafless trees in the background?
Pardon, but where in that image showing a J-10As performing an engine test can You see snow and leafless trees in the background?

I think he/she had mistaken the overexposed film for snow on the ground.
Amazing how far CAC came since then.
It's nice to see that J10 is gradually getting more and more air to ground options and is slowly getting used more and more as a multirole fighter within PLAAF. First it was just the LGBs, then we had shots of targeting pods and lately we've seen YJ91 used on it. (dumb bomb and rocket pod carriage goes without saying, we saw that even 10 years ago)
I am disregarding developmental J10 airframes and various "for show" loadouts on the ground, and concentrating only on ones seemingly in active service with PLAAF.
Anyway, who wants to bet on which air to ground system will next be seen used on J10?
Small form IIR/satnav guided precision bomb?
Large IIR/satnav guided precision bomb?
Small/medium missile? (up to maverick size)
Stand off missile?

It is a matter of necessity since 4th generation fighters will be relegated to air-ground roles once the fifth gens are joining service enmass.
YJ-91 sure or Kh-31 ? and ARM but also AShM ? for Navy's J-10 make sense
