On Nov. 09. 2017, a PLAN J-10S fighter successfully conducted the test flight after the overhaul at AVIC Changsha. This is the first time Changsha Aviation has overhauled a PLAN 3rd. Gen. fighter.

Those changes make sense.

I would really like to see if one of those weird J-10D proposals see the light.some changes are almost an entire redesign, so big that some of them deserves a new designation.

I think the changes will be incremental, step by step, not revolutionary but evolutionary...

IF J-10D were to be given thrust vector control the wing might well be enlarged as in the middle drawing. In that case I would be very surprised.

By the way, is this a recent image show just a factory-fresh new-built J-10C or already an older image or an aircraft after being modified?

I'm eager to know if CAC is already within Batch 03?

Nope ... to admit for me the last four days alone delivered a mass of new brigades and I just have the feeling that slowly the picture of the PLAAF's reform gets clearer.

You might be correct, that there's a slowdown in true flashlights like the J-20's or Y-20's maiden flight - maybe a prelude to the H-20 - but the images and news right now are gold-worth especially for number-nerds like me.

By the way, any chance of these images in a larger size??
