IIRC last year it was only JH-7A? Now J-10B? Shows that confidence is rapidly growing.

This year's Aviadarts is held in China, so it is easier for China to send in more fighters from a logistics standpoint.

Rockets on Flankers and J10s seems totally wrong. You are saving proverbial pennies on smart munitions while putting far more expensive aircraft and pilot lives at risk.

The pilots precious training times are far better used in DAC and precision munitions use.

Even rockets on JH7s seems wholely outdated.

In this day and age, the only aircraft using rocket pods should be rotorwing attack Helos and maybe drones.

I don't think an UAV requires a cockpit.
