Actually crashing is a good thing... it only show some flaws in either fundamental design of the aircraft, engine issues, SOP in the flight, etc. And with that exposure of the flaws, the Chinese could learn and mend the problem. So when it came to real war, there will be less casualty. It is exactly like, "The sweat and bleeding during training can save you from dying during real war."

All PLA commanders who buy into Chairman XI concept of (( Able to Battle and Win Wars + Taking the Battle to the Enemy Territory ) by applying the Core principle of ( Innovation on Everything )) have been urgently and diligently designing the PLA exercises to be as close as possible to the real battle environment.

Let's say for now ... ... taking the battle across the sea to Japanese cities.

This means PLAAF pilots must use every terrain features to hide their equipment from being scanned by enemy radar.

If PLAAF do not practise Night Time Confrontational exercises now, then when the East and South China Sea War breakout, ... .... how can you fight on the Enemy Territory and win the battle ??

It is better to anticipate and spot all the problems now ( for example * Night Time Low Level Flying * Confrontational exercises ~ and how to avoid collision with civilians Quad Copters ), and finding the Innovative and Scientific solutions asap. ** Discovering the problems on the battlefield is a recipe for disaster and National humiliations.

Please help me understand your logic here. I've gone through your article several times but simply cannot find any mentioning of the accident.

Note that we are not discussing some part of PLAAF training philosophy or training program. We are looking to confirm a very very specific event that might or might not have taken place. The PLAAF can now decide to commit all its planes, fighters, bombers and transport, etc, to low altitude night training, for all I care. It still does not mean anything to the specific accident in question.

I think you have taken wild extrapolation to a new level of wildness... It's like a break-in occurred some time in the night somewhere in the world. Police is in the process of finding a suspect. You go to them and say it must be a neighborhood cat since cats are nocturnal animals and they always come out at night. So it must be a cat that broke into that house and stolen all the jewelry.

At this rate we may never again see a plane with clear serial number. Seems we're down to monitoring the situation via Google earth for any developments concerning new planes coming to various units.

Exact and i have do and i have see several things interestings but you must have luck for get recent pictures coz can have sometimes up to 5/10 years...
