This is probably old hat to most of us here, but still a cool indicator that people outside of the IR/war nerd circle (MBAs) are taking notice of US-China-Japan trilateral tensions.

Best thing about the video was the woman doing the drawings. Girl has skillz!

The narrative was decent, if a little shallow, but since the purpose of these videos is to give a quick and easy to understand summary of complex situations to the casual observer, it does a pretty good job in the time it took and was surprisingly balanced and bias free on the most part. The only blemish was the silly and quasi-racist remark right at the end about face saving. I guess it's just a damning sign of how deeply ingrained racism is towards anyone Chinese looking that even learned people sometimes make offensive remarks without realising what they are doing.

and Russian angle and Taiwan angle. The videos's more of a business perosn's perspective, there are way more at stake than cutting economic ties with China if US sides with Japan. It's not all clear that US siding with Japan is better for its credibility. It easily could lead to diminish US world image, domestic unrest and divide within US led alliances. I don't think Korean War and Vietnam War improved US credibility, they in fact, improved Chinese credibility.
