Well, the following report about the Dhruv's exhibition at the Farnborough 2006 mentions that the Dhruv shall be fitted with 8 LAHAT missile systems :

"The Army version has eight LAHAT air-to-ground laser homing missiles as well as a radar warning receiver and decoy launcher and Israeli avionics. A GIAT M621 2 mm gun turret can be fitted in place of the H-MOSP sensor pod."

Yes, but that doesn't make those LAHAT. It can carry eight LAHAt - i.e. two quad launchers - but those are still Mistral. LAHAT looks like this:

- you don't have to start counting on your toes to realise that a twin Mistral launcher is not a quad LAHAT launcher. :nana:

Your assesment about the presence of mistral missiles on the Dhruv appears correct, but the following statements mention a quad mistral system :-

"The Army has also decided to arm the ALH Dhruv with a
quad MBDA Mistral missile pod, a 20 mm
gun from GIAT, rocket pods from FZ
Belgium and with Israeli EW equipment at
Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL)."

It maybe possible that a dual-mistral launcher may have been selected. Also, the author of the article posted by me, is Major General (retd) Ashok K Mehta, who is a defence columnist. His article about the Dhruv at Farnborough 2006 does not mention the Mistral, but the LAHAT. Can it be possible that a dual Lahat launcher has been developed ?

---bangs head against wall---

The pictures show twin Mistral AAM tubes.

The quad LAHAT may have been on the other side of the aircraft - this picture of it at Paris airshow clearly shows the LAHAT:

I have acknowledged your assessment earlier already, hence such statements are unnecessary. Besides my photos in question were from Farnborough and not Paris.
