Umm. Trishul Trident ?
I noticed the post. But I don't think these are going to be inducted. The same Seeker is used across multiple platforms ? I do not think they can replace the Russian supplied ones soon.
From the beginning of 2017 where the situation was " India will forever be dependent on Russian seekers" to the beginning of 2019 where India already has developed an indigenous seeker is simply a commendable progress. Within just 2 years India cracked the seeker question? That compels me to ask what was my original question - Did India get the support of Israel in getting the seeker tech ? Or a tech transfer from Russia of some sorts?

Then there is this -

If India was confident of its own "indigenous" seekers ( that came into existence, out of the blue, within a 2 year span ) in Astra , it should have at-least mentioned it so as a replacement to the R-77 which has had somewhat of a confidence loss among IAF after the India-Pakistan air skirmish.
Since India always have "patience to see its products mature" it should ensure that this indigenous product is better than the one developed by the Russian OAO Agat (R-77).

Thanks for pointing out the indigenous development. That was very knowledgeable for me.
But my analysis is that this indigenous seeker won't become the mainstay soon / more likely become the secondary solution while the premier BVRAAM would still be foreign origin.
Israeli Derby or even the Meteor ( if it gets packed with Rafale as requested).

@berserk Let them induct it in numbers. Hopefully, it won't end up like the Guns, Tanks, Fighter jets of the country lately.
their are 124 Arjun in service for more than a decade now & Mk1a has cleared all trials with flying colours....I repeat there is no tank in subcontinent which matches protection & firepower of Arjun mk1a period.

....as for Tejas order are guaranteed... more than 200 will be procured over all its variants.

New 40cm resolution pics completely show penetrations by 3 spice bombs in one building on balakot. This is the cleanest satellite pics so far which is non military. Old one were all 3 meter resolution on basis of which many stupid article were written by known charlatan.

There is desperate, and there is this.

Those ‘penetration holes’ are clearly just image artefacts or shadows.

Even if you cannot spot that, some very basic common sense would have ruled those out as bomb holes.

Unless the Indians were loading their Spice 2000s with concrete, there is no way that building would not be just a crater after a single 2000lb bomb hit, never mind 3.

Hell, even if the IAF managed to load training rounds, no roof would maintain such neat lines after three bomb hits at such close proximity, and nor would penetrating hits on buildings leave such neat and tiny holes to start with.

no they are not stop Bull s****g you can run those images from any IMINT software, Google is your friend ;) & the bomb used was not your typical Ka boom as many here like to think. You people are watching to much Hollywood :D ask Pakistan why it took them a month to take media people just 100 meter to top & that to the Madrassa which was never hit :)
