Dont waste your time & energy ;)... India is just a huge media power & nothing else ... dont we know how many failed projects are on their dash board not to mention all started with such a hype that no one in the world could match them and now where are those :(.....

And in the last but not the least, dont worry in next Bollywood movie this mission will be completed :D

The crux basically is that you don't get to troll somebody who's trying to do something and fails simply because the effort put into it was genuine to the mission.
Every scientist, engineer in space agencies understand the difficulties they've had to go through to get to a capability.
That's why you see agencies like NASA, CNSA, ESA, JAXA, ISRO and their engineers congratulating each other on every other mission.
Its only the people who don't understand the complexity of the project who act foolish.

I have a question: Why didn't India try to develop their Dhruv helicopter into a light ASW helicopter like Lynx/Wildcat/Panther/Z-9?

The proposed anti-submarine warfare (ASW) variant had been deemed unsuitable by the Navy, which was reportedly dissatisfied with the folding blade performance and maintenance record.(highly plagiarised)

Yeah, I read that too. On the other hand, neither of these things seems as some unsurmountable problem that couln't be solved during last 15 years?

Payload capacity couldn't be improved to the point where it could take all sensors and processors and also armament altogether while maintaining some margin. At most it probably can be used as a armament carrier or sensor carrier but not both.
It is cleared for SAR role in navy

I must say that I'm surprised that Indian Navy has no MCM ships?

I mean, they retired all 12 of the Pondicherry class MCM ships, while the replacement ships have only just started construction? Man would expect that they will at least keep some of them in service to keep the skills?
