:p after severals attacks from you for a time i can joke .
don't try to hide behind your "joke" and smiley, calling it joke doesn't make it so. Joking is between people of mutual respect and understanding, otherwise it is mocking. There is no respect from you, you know that, I have your personal message in my mailbox, you remember that.

Today’s BrahMos-A debut launch from a Su-30.
I would more than appreciate to be educated about BrahMos - while Wiki and open sources say things very differently, many defense forums can only either boasting (not surprisingly Indian ones so I don't give too much credit) or giving pretty conservative speculations:
1) Exactly how much "indigenous" India is holding on this missile? by value, I mean...
2) From what I saw, Russia still keep that ramjet engine technology from India, i.e. India won't be able to produce without Russia knock-out suits
3) At OEM base, can India "export" this missile without Russia approval, i.e. India got this "authorization" to export to anyone they want

Impressive display. Are they capable of carrying nuclear warheads?

Normaly yes but they have a lot of Ballistic Missiles Prithvi etc... for that and attacked land target is rather a mission for Army's Brahmos on TELs, logicaly main mission for ships and Su-30MKi is anti-ships .
And Indians sure use later the Nhirbay LACM for land targets build for it can reach 1000 km.

In fact Brahmos is mainly a anti-ships missiles with a land target attack capacity, very probably the more accurate anti-ships missiles.

This variant A is more compact do 2.5 tons 3 initialy for Su-30MKi with less fuel and more room for a bigger warhead of 300 kg vs 200 kg dangerous missile ! for defend vs him better to have a AEGIS ship.

Actyaly they have a Sqn of Jaguar with harpoon which have replace Sea Eagle

2.5 tons (5500lb, heavier than GBU-28) is a very heavy munition to carry and launch from a fighter platform, even a Flanker.

I'm not convinced that air-launched BrahMos is a great idea, but certainly India will have learnt a lot from the process of design, modelling, integration and testing, and this will stand them in good stead for future development efforts. Congratulations to all involved.
