I started hearing rumors of how the rioters believe what they are doing is popular with the HK populace, and have therefore became brazen and started to go out knocking on people's doors canvasing for support and donations!

I dismissed it as rumors, but now this video surfaced! WOW, just WOW!

If that's the case, I had better re-valuate the rumor I heard the rioters are being paid!

And noticed, there's a western "journalists" accompanying them all the time!

Well said, but somehow, I feel you are wasting your time!

Look at my post about OZ MP, Tim Wilson, a government official being a total hypocrite by saying:

"Demostration is a waste of time and the authority should use water cannon on the demostrators" refering to demostrators in Sydney.

Yet, to the rioters in HK, he marched with them "demonstrating" solidarity! So I guess it looks like hypocrisy its rife in OZ!

OH, this is not about Brumby. I don't specialize in ad-hominems or Country bashing. I was speaking to a "certain" demography who might read through the thread.

I think China really needs to stop being so clean and play dirty when foreign powers goes out of their way to damage Chinese interests.

If NED tried this shit in places like Russia, their operatives would start turning up en mass at morgues from mugging and traffic accidents.

Not suggesting China go to such extremes, but the true ringleaders and enablers of these riots need to face the consequences of their actions or else there will be no checks on their behaviour.

Right now Trump thinks he can do what he wants because there won’t be any costs for him to pay. China needs to dissuade him, or at least the spy chiefs who present such ideas to him, of that idea, and show that there are serious costs to such underhanded tactics.

The big problem here is that these Evangelical Churches are an almost perfect mechanism for moving slush money. All they have to say is that it was a donation following a televised revivalist meeting.
No doubt these kids are well equipped, well organised, well motivated and with some on the ground, well versed in civil disobedience etc. Clearly there are controlling minds pulling the strings and providing the resources.
Ok so a bit of balance. Hong Kong is still a million miles away from being another Aleppo and China can still sit back and follow the Claudian maxim "let the evil that lurks in the mud, hatch out!"
As others have already noted (you included I think Wolfie) there is plenty of scope here for Chinese Intelligence to gain very significant intel on the degree and nature of overseas Intel operations in HK.

Fortunately these Churches and their Pastors have one well established weakness, namely Financial and Sexual Impropriety. These are the kind of allegation that warrant freezing bank accounts, sequestrating and impounding assets (buildings etc) and holding passports, while very long and very detailed, indeed exhaustive, investigations and inquiries are undertaken!

I used the correct syntax, i.e. the top one, with

    www.imagelink.com = https://imgur.com/l7UbMyo

I tried using the image button at the top and copy and paste in the link address and still, it didn't work.

You need the direct link, your link is a link to the image.

For imgur, a direct link has the format of https://i.imgur.com/ - it has an extra i before the imgur.

to get the direct link click on the image into a new tab, e.g.: from your image, the direct link is: https://i.imgur.com/l7UbMyo.jpg

I still can't see it; here is what it should look like.

Try correcting your syntax, particularly the / for the closing IMG.
When I click "open to new tab" it doesn't take me to a direct link of the image but rather to the imgur site with the image instead.
