You mean China hasn't learned to incite unrest in other countries? In general, yes, but there are three other factors:

Firstly, China is a young lion and a young lion's strategy is to focus on itself and grow into its potential while the USA is an old lion and an old lion's strategy is to sabotage others since its own growth potential is limited. They both reap more rewards with their differing strategies respectively.

Secondly, the countries that oppose China in favor of an American alliance are generally well-established nations with a tradition of wealth fearing the arrival of a giant that may disrupt their world order. There is very little potential to cause rioting and unrest in these stable and rich countries with firm identities (unless they do it to themselves like France) completely opposite to Hong Kong.

Lastly, China is able to gain allies without inciting unrest or using military action, which is a higher level of operation. China has been peeling away the allies of the ROC one by one (I think 2 last month) with completely peaceful means.

PS. Do make sure you've seen the article I added to my last post. You might not have since I edited it in after the other parts were posted.

well a success of Propaganda is measured by how it can indoctrinate foreigners and Bolsheviks' Propaganda had been very successful (google for instance
"Bavarian Soviet Republic" not kidding you)
so let's wait and see how Chinese fare

No, I don't mean China's ability to incite unrest, merely the ability to immunize from such attack would be good enough. China' OBOR initiative needs stable environment to work, therefore US's interest is in disruption, China's interest is in stability. I'll check back your post.

I won't say those are overly important in the politically scene. However to my great surprise one of the ethnic British judge actually spoke out against the rioters and call for rationality.... I guess you can't judge common decency on ethnicity alone. Yet a overwhelming number of ethnic Chinese lawyers had thrown in their lot with the rioters...

Well, then we're on the same page. China's entire population is immune; Hong Kong is a freak territory; you cannot judge trends by outliers. China's global image is rising and it is much better in the young populations than in older populations in the world showing a relative decline in the abilities of China's enemies to use propaganda to create negative opinion of China and increase in China's ability to show itself in a better light for greater global support and stability. Here is some research done in 2019 to show that:

Ah, yes I saw this report somewhere too. While I still think China suck at propaganda these days, Trump had singlehandedly destroyed US image, and the world is more and more aware of US's shenanigan.
As for Hong Kong... Well I think about the future of Hong Kong, it is fucked. If Hong Kong is stagnant before now it is officially fucked. I sincerely hope this is the last victory for CIA, China better learn fast.
