Happy Khmer New Year to you too LOL now I briefly checked wiki, wasn't aware the occasion "is the end of the harvesting season, when farmers enjoy the fruits of their labor before the rainy season begins"
(I would've thought the monsoon season should start later in the year)

actually now I checked

Grilling, my man! Lots of it! Ribs, chicken wings and brisket. And pork belly with crispy skin, chicharrone style!
Unfortunately, no fireworks. Banned in our subdivision...
What's the reason? Couldn't be because of fire could it?

No idea... We got signs all over the subdivision, warning us not to have fireworks... All those fireworks trailers are so tempting though...
