Syria have about 800 launchers in 2012 now ? 50+ % ?? the main part of the sites is localized around Damas and the coast areas not occupied by other fractions same for Airbases despite this maintenance for these systems is secondary, ofc Syrian are focused, need grounds troops... which have also clearly decreased, we can consider now this Army get 50% of this power in 2012 remains enough big but with low qty of modern weapons however Russians provide since 2 years a certain number especialy Mig-31 ?, Mig-29 modernised as Su-24, T-90 and helps with about 30 fighter bombers and equivalent a Brigade/Division.

On 800 SAM initialy only about 100 SA-11/22 moderns, SA-3 modernized/Pechora are enough decent, others... also not S-300 planned delivered in fact SAM Air Defense comparable to NK about but NK don't have new.

The main problem with old is not mainly a less big range in general but especiazly much vulnerable to moderns ECM less capable.

The B-52s are regularly updated and have fatigued material replaced. They are extremly well maintained as they would have to be in order to continue operating so lng.
OT
When B-52 and Tu-95 were designed metal fatigue was a major problem. The way these two types are continuing to fly, and especially the Tu-95 with is propellers, are a credit to their maintenance organizations.

H-6G releases a missile.

H-6G's missile motor ignites:

Missile accelerates away from H-6K:

Missile continues on its way:

Neat stuff. The entire video has a lot of good stuff in it like this, particularly PLAN vessels.
