demonstrates Russia and China's futures are linked together. Not only agriculture as PMC highlighted above but much of Russia's eastern infrastructure is precariously built on permafrost which is defrosting. Russian and Chinese science, engineering and construction talents will be needed for adapting to the the effects. An example is China's amazing railway to Tibet. I'm sure similarly creative solutions are already on the drawing boards.

I have read they will greatly increase Arctic shipping through NSR route that will provide greater flexibility to access many sea ports and reliability in trade. i
Expanding road network may lessen intensity on heavier cargo railway. railway is heavier pointed load with much less flexibility if you need to deal with many industrial sites or shopping malls. so there will need a balance between trucking and railway.

“This rally will demonstrate the high efficiency of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) use on long routes. Our truck tractors can cover long distances without refueling. To add to this, the low price of NGV fuels helps to save a lot. I’m sure our experience will be useful for many companies with large vehicle fleets,” commented Lyubov Brish, General Director of LLC Gazprom Helium Servis.

“NGV fuels in Russia are becoming more and more popular year after year. Today, the country has about 700 gas-fueling stations. More than half of them are Gazprom facilities, and we continue expanding the network of automatic gas fillers,” noted Denis Danilov, Deputy Director of Siberian Branch of LLC Gazprom Gas-Engine Fuel.

Kamaz-5490 freight trucks developed specially for Gazprom and operated by LLC Gazprom Helium Service headed for the longest Russian NGV rally. The truck tractors are powered with a pollution-free fuel –LNG. Each truck is equipped with two cryotanks which enable to cover up to 1.4 thous. km without refueling.

The NGVs will travel 10 thous. km through 25 subjects of the Russian Federation. The rally will finish at the site of the XI St. Petersburg International Gas Forum on September 15.

Putin signed decree to transfer foreign assets to temporary management in case of seizure of Russian assets abroad
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on retaliatory measures in case of seizure of Russian assets abroad. The document provides for the introduction of temporary management of the property of companies associated with foreign countries in the event of blocking Russian assets in these countries. The decree was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

According to the document, 83.73% of the shares of the Russian Unipro (owned by the German concern Uniper) and 98% of the shares of Fortum (owned by the Finnish Fortum) are transferred under the temporary management of the Federal Property Management Agency. Temporary management of assets of unfriendly countries, follows from the decree, may be terminated by decision of the President of Russia.

The interim manager exercises the powers of the owner, and can also conduct an inventory of the property and ensure its safety. The costs associated with interim management are financed from income from its use.

Belarus to make parts for Tu-214. This is addition to parts made for several other Russia aircraft. based on UEC figures the engine PS-90 is now within 14% efficiency difference of PD-14.

MINSK, 12 April (BelTA) – Minsk Civil Aviation Plant No.407 and Kazan Aviation Plant intend to sign a roadmap on making components for Tu-214 aircraft, Head of the Kazan branch of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia Viktor Shchetko told BelTA's YouTube project After the Fact: Lukashenko's Decisions.
In his words, cooperation between the companies will be established in furtherance of the agreements the presidents of Belarus and Russia have made in the field of aircraft manufacturing. Kazan Aviation Plant intends to increase the output of Tu-214 aircraft from about five per annum to 70 by 2030. Belarusian enterprises are expected to help make components for Kazan Aviation Plant to use.

Based on trade turnover. Almost 60% of Belarus trade now with Russia. before Belarus used to trade with ukraine and other East Europeans.

Based on trade turnover. Almost 60% of Belarus trade now with Russia. before Belarus used to trade with ukraine and other East Europeans.

Seriously though, I think Belarus better join Russia altogether. I don't see the point of the country existing independently. They will be better off being part of a Russian state with some more autonomy like chechnya

i think over long term they may integrate it further and saved resources on removing the administrative structures but Putin has that respect for the Soviet generation that is in power in Belarus so he want to keep that independent state prestige.
Chechnya is different. Russia want to create a model Islamic state that look like Persian Gulf monarchies. Putin is very highly impressed with Arabs that even if he invites Africans he want Arab presence prominent. Arabs have one of strongest demographic growth and that he want to replicate. I am sure there other mutual interest things but certain things become much more obvious.
Ukraine normally blacklist and advertise anyone that visit Crimea but this Japanese garden creation on the hills was tweeted and considering its size it would have taken alot of money and time. than there is another garden where they put the name of Japanese. who knows how many more but the point is Russian had confidence that this thing will be created even if Ukrainian find out about it. from where that confidence comes from?
