So, apart from the video where it is from, a fe other ways of recognizing that it isn't doctored from the J-15T image is looking at details like:
- the front landing gear doors are two piece on the J-15B versus single piece on the J-15T picture, difficult to doctor
-the overall posture/angle of the two aircraft in each picture are actually quite different from one another, again difficult to doctor
-shadows, lighting are also subtly different and the presence of the missiles on the J-15B would also take some effort to actually doctor in
It’s similar because J-15B is a modified variant of J-15. Why would the official PLAN channel release fake image?
Newly released CGTN documentary on People's Liberation Army Navy and on it's two current operational aircraft carriers the Liaoning and Shandong as well as what's considered by many in the world as the most advanced destroyer the Type-055.

Totally agree and in fact I‘m a bit surprised that some still call it J-15T when it‘s IMO quite obviously a J-15B. However, IMO this particular aircraft ist still a prototype - just look at the red number on the cockpit.

Here a bit clearer ... However even if overall quite realistic it looks more like a model or CG, since the external stores (RKZ930 pods & YJ-91 ARM) appear a bit off or strange!
