Hating China gives Vietnamese their identity. Otherwise there would be nothing separating them from Southern Chinese. Vietnam was China for like a thousand years.
I don't want to sound arrogant, but I don't know a single Chinese person who actually cares about the Vietnamese hating them. Also, there is a lot separating Vietnamese people from Southern Chinese people. They are not indistinguishable at all.

Sounds like. False flag to me, in the sense that this is an attempt with a prepared scape goat to try and disentangle themselves from Ukraine by preventing the counter offensive from taking place via leaking information to dissuade the Biden administration from further escalation. Only problem is, is that no matter what the USA does whether they go ahead with this offensive or not, they still lose either way, since by running away shows the USA as yet another paper tiger that runs away away when they can no longer win east or that they do continue and the Ukraines get wreck any way with further proves the USA as a paper tiger that couldnt help Ukraine to win when they said they would move heaven and earth to do so.

Vietnamese hate the Chinese more than anything. They view Chinese as subhuman at best, very fond of Nanjing massacre and there is daily pray of 3 Gorges Damn collapse. Don't think Vietnamese gov is pro-china, no one is. They are just being rational but they still exert anti-china propaganda via their media. Look at their newspaper, they are even more anti china than western media.
Vietnam is to China what Poland is to Russia. A foul mouthed toxic younger sibling moaning about past grievances. The difference here is that Russia being weaker economically leads to Poland being more open and direct in their belligerence and toxicity while China being a superpower compels Vietnam to moan and bitch about in silence without affecting any actual policies be it economic, political or military that threaten China's position. As long as that balance is maintained, China has nothing to worry about.

I can see where you're coming from, but at least Poland has Chopin and Curie, who are admired around the globe. I can't think of a single thing about Vietnam that Chinese people admire.

The Taliban-led government of Afghanistan disclosed on 15 April that a Chinese company reached out to Kabul with a $10 billion investment proposal to mine the national lithium reserves and to provide assistance in the construction of infrastructure.

The head of Afghanistan’s Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, Shahabuddin Delawar, made the announcement following a meeting he had with representatives of the Chinese company, commonly identified as Gochin, which expressed interest in mining the national lithium reserves.

During the meeting, the Chinese company stressed its interest in developing specific infrastructure, such as a hydroelectric dam and a new tunnel by the Salang gateway, connecting east Afghanistan with its northern gateway to Russia and China.

Can anyone here provide context into this alleged banning of Ramzan fasting in China as reported here:

I am not aware of any ban specifically targeting fasting by regulation or law, but I believe there is no measures (excuses) to facilitate fasting in practice. Muslims who work in a factory, or school or institution are required to carry out their duties unimpeded as non Muslims. This is impossible for someone who is not drinking and eating during working hours. This is essentially the same practice in any secular state including Europe and US, but some medias including Indian prefer to interpret it as a "ban" when it is about China.

In an extreme scenario, if the person fainted on the machine and got his hand cut off because of fasting, it is his fault. But if a person has no job in a factory or is working on his own farm, he does whatever he like including not eating.

China is a strict secular state, no religion can impose any restrictions on citizens more than the secular law does, nor can religion compel citizens to conduct less obligations than secular law requires. Religions have to get themselves adapt to the state, not the other way around.

I did hear there is a ban on minors to practice religious activities in religious facilities.

In China, Germany’s foreign minister does not hold back—and is still welcomed

In her view German and European markets and imports are significant enough to give her a strong hand in what she deems a purely transactional relationship with the Chinese. Judging from the effort the Chinese government made to welcome her in Beijing, she seems to have a point.
Despite the awkwardness that may have arisen from Ms Baerbock’s noted penchant for Klartext (clear words), and Mr Qin’s own robust response, the Chinese foreign minister is planning to travel to Berlin for more government consultations in June. He ended the press conference on a conciliatory note, closing with a “Danke!”.

This is canary in a coal mine. The catch is the growing Chinese middle class, which is exactly the rationale of dual-circle economic model. I also think the US elites already recognize this secular trend. In the grand scheme of great power competition, the growing Chinese middle class is going to be the defining factor. At the end of the day, US is a capitalistic society. I have never known capitalists would forsake profits and market shares.

The Cold War 2.0 is already over after it barely started.
