So this'll be what saves TikTok from a U.S. ban. The fact that the only thing standing in the way between America and a full blown far-right conspiracy theory driven dictatorship, are boomers using the power of influencers to make themselves look "hip and cool" to voters born after 2000.

Dude looks so much happier without his chaperon.
Macron is thinking I wish my fellow citizens in France would treat me the same...

Btw, with such massive protests in France, will Macron be possibly ousted anytime soon? Just curious how long he will last, since he seems to not want to choose sides on Taiwan, which is nice.
It depends if the CIA wants to pull the trigger. Given the pension reform mass protests, just a slight push from the CIA is all it would take and Macron would crumble faster than the duration of his meeting with Xi

France has always somewhat try to go against the grain and not be a complete vassal. Remember the entire freedumb fries incident ? :DI beleive they still have some pride of the French culture and would like to at least not see itself collapse completely from the world stage and be overshadow by the "English" speakers

That's true. After all, whereas UK is imperial territory, France is a vassal with expanded autonomy. The whole point of US efforts in the past years (and still continuing) is mobilising these vassals.

Imperial territories as usually fell in line very quickly, but its the vassals which are slowing down this effort though

Indeed his position is tenuous at best and although his meeting with Xi is a boon for China and France's foreign relations, the protestors on the domestic front certainly aren't getting happier and might even come off as out of touch.
