I will make a comment which will go against the opinions of many people. SMGs make a lot of sense if your intention is sub-100 meter self-defense. They are very cheap, light, compact, and lethal enough against unarmored targets. Against ceramic-kevlar body armor of today, it doesn't matter if you are shooting a battle rifle or pistol. Both don't penetrate.

I am more curious about the 9mm ammo they are potentially using with the QCQ-171. Anyone got information on the latest 9mm parabellum developed by China and how it compares to the supposedly "armour piercing" 9mm rounds developed Russia?

The first image has already been shared by someone else, literally posted on this very page. As for the second and third image, they are garbage. So pitifully small, grainy, and compressed that I can barely make out any details on the rifles. Was it really necessary to share them here?
