I don't see anybody other than Japan, Britain and Australia intervening. South Korean intervention is not realistic.

What happened the last time when Chairman Mao got ready to invade Taiwan?
The Koreas started fighting, bringing back the 7th fleet.
If history repeats somewhat similarly, like that article is suggesting here, this would be a two front war for South Korea.
I do not think any country on earth welcomes two front wars.
What DOES seems interesting, is we are reading some really wild propaganda lately all emanating from the US side. For what reasons, that is unknown.
Maybe that war in Europe is going badly enough, that that this loud rhetoric is required.

Something’s tells me that the elites/neo cons are starting to recognize that the day will come when they as a collective is going to be dragged in front of the world and prosecuted for everything they have done. And they are absolutely frightened at this because they were at the top of the world so long that cannot envision that the day will come when they will finally be found wanting. And their is no God they can turn to for help because they very Bible they swore that they pretend to follow will not absolve them of their sins because they know deep down they have broken every single commandment and they are too proud to actually try and apologise. China should just let the US default on its debt anyways. Yes, the financial tsunami from the US defaulting from its debt would be massive for the world economy and should be expected for, but it's also time for the US to learn how to behave like a proper functioning member of the international society once again.
The US should not be allowed to keep endlessly printing money and live in the riches off the backs of the poor across the rest of the world anymore. The so-called "rule-based world order" molded exclusively by the US (and the West, as an extension) needs a factory reset.
