Concerning the strange Hxxxx numbers now also spotted on PLAN NA JH-7As, this is what I have so far for the J-15s. Any corrections and additions?

There are actually 5 sets of nos. H1111Xxx, H1741Xxx, H1101Xxx, H1102Xxx and H1103Xxx with xx always being the individual ac. number.

I like how the carrier aviators kept their red-yellow stripes even when switching to low visible markings xD. Some personality there.
If I remember correctly, the red-yellow strip is for fighter jets that participated in the air parade of China's 70th anniversary in 2019. As it is a mark of honour in parade participation, I don't think they want to change it.

Red and yellow are the colors of PRC's national flag.

iirc a number of PLAAF units flying various iterations of the flanker also have these strips, to me they look cool af
