Interesting, when it was first presented in model form several years ago, it was called VN-50. Well, VN-20 it is, until they change it again.

Are those square holes on the side for gun ports? Don't see another reason for them to be there.

No way. Too low on the vehicle and too many. Besides it would defeat the whole purpose of a HIFV. Firing ports are a weakness built into the armor. They are probably to assist in attaching the armor appliqués
