So Yoon met the (afaik) 3rd highest Chinese representative while he didn't meet the 3rd highest US representative Pelosi, a month ago.
From East Asia usual practice that's like showing a giant middle finger to the US.

Yoon went on vacation, therefore he could not met Pelosi when she visit South Korea.
Then it comes out, because the natural question to ask anyone on vacation, is where did he go?
The new leader had one of those stay at home vacations, in Souel.
When Pelosi was actually in South Korea, Yoon was at a play.
Generally speaking, things get worst after that. They do not turn around and get better.
The Americans are repeating the same old propaganda line about how regional allies are ganging up on China, because there is no Plan B. Chip-4, Taiwan contingencies, blah blah blah.

Seriously though the Pelosi snub would be considered a diplomatic incident in Asian culture. When it happened I knew it was time to get the popcorn because we're about to see some drama and the Koreans didn't disappoint. What I thought was going to happen after Yoon becoming president was:
- North Korea conduct nuclear test
- South Korea and Japan use this as excuse to get more THAAD and SRBM
- relationship between China and South Korea/Japan degrade, China friendly voices in both countries further silence
- Kim did not conduct his nuclear test for some reason despite indication he was ready to go, possibly because China told him to hold fire. Instead he spent his time testing missiles, including the first successful launch of 15,000km range Hwasong-17 ICBM - a weapon clearly aimed at US and not at South Korea
- US tried to get EV and chip business at South Korea's expense with that battery thing and CHIP 4, and South Korea resisting more than either Taiwan or Japan
- Biden gravely insulted Yoon in front of the world with this stunt:

It’s so sad to see that people have become so accustomed to the self-serving western world order that they cannot see a better path when it’s right in front of them.
The western dream is based on expanding their tribe. You can join their tribe and get some crumbs from their table so long as you renounce everything you were and fully commit to their rules and customs and the protection of them. If you are not part of their tribe, well fuck you. You deserve to be ruthlessly exploited and subjugated through western institutions and ‘rules based order’ or by military force if the former doesn’t work.
China’s system works on the principle of a rising tide lifts all ships. China works in to improve infrastructure and education and help poor countries follow in China’s development footsteps to help themselves rather than reply forever on handouts. Chinese loans consistently charge a fraction of the interest of western loans and Chinese companies don’t operate by trying to corner the market, wiping out all competition and then extracting monopolistic super profits.
The western model doesn’t even work for 99% of the people in the west. It only really benefits the elites who own and run western governments and institutions where profits are privatised by losses are nationalised. It’s such a horrific deal and is only accepted because the (elite owned and run) western MSM keeps repeating the mantra that this is the best system known to man and is as good as it will ever get.
This is also why the western elite are so United in their hatred of China and desperate in their need to see it destroyed.
Because their worst nightmare is if their own subjugated populations start to wake from their brainwashing and ask, why are we putting up with this bullshit, and why couldn’t we have something like China?
