Serbia officially applied to join EU in 2009 (long before the current conflict) most likely for economic reasons. The current Serbian president belongs to Serbia progressive party which is pro European and supports EU accession.
Then, he should stop b...ng about alleged EU's forced unfair play on Serbia with regards to halting the import of Russian oil since he's one of the geniuses who wish to integrate his country into the EU for better economic integration. Being a part of an organization requires certain sacrifices to prove their worth, and right now, Serbia is being told/commanded to follow the EU diktat otherwise he's free to do nothing but not without incurring penalty in return. You can't simply ask to become part of something to reap the benefits and reward but then moan and complain when the very entity you wish to join demand you sacrifice something in return.

Everyone itching to start their own war it seems.
Russian weakness and recent tactical loss/retreat is what's causing this added instability. Who fears the Russian military if they keep performing the way they have been showing, only the nukes will keep her many enemies at bay. Russian arrogance and lack of humility are going to be their downfall. Their leadership is confused beyond imagination.

That's just being a politician. Chinese MFA also complains a great deal about US unfair trade practices against PRC. US state department likewise also complains about perceived trade injustices from PRC. But both sides still maintain economic relationship.

It's because he and the 1% of Serbian elite put their hands at the honey of EU construction or whatever aids, but the 600mln loss will be canalized to the whole Serbian polulation. Geopolitics are full of contradictions but if you put it at a class war analysis the results are more clear to see. Like Germany. Why play hard with Russians despite you are addicted to Russian gas and oil? Because the elites gonna reach the Russian gas and oil in the black market or one or other way, they will get their failing bussinesses bailed out by the state(indirectly funded by the whole of Germans) and they will finally get their mansions heated while the most of population will suffer

The current crop of German politicians are so incompetent, all they know is how to placate the U.S. by attempting to reduce Germany-China trade, even if it will be detrimental to their own economy.

"Trickle-down economics" is always a scam, and the U.S. is an oligarchy, not a democracy.

Make no mistake, the U.S. IS at war with China. China should plan accordingly.

After attending the SCO and visiting Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan this week, Xi will attend the first Arab – China summit in Saudi Arabia in December. Petroyuan coming?

At the very least, oil trade in Yuan. Remains to be seen if Darth Brandon has the balls to pull an Iraq War style decapitation strike.

US: " Be our pawns to fight a tech war against China and transfer all your tech to us to rebuild our industries so we can maintain the sole countrol over your country"

Fears of Chinese retaliation and regional tensions are hampering US efforts to rally its East Asian allies behind a proposed semiconductor supply chain alliance.

on trade and national security grounds.
It is supposed to comprise the US, South Korea, Japan and Taiwan, offering a forum for governments and companies to discuss and co-ordinate policies on supply chain security, workforce development, R&D and subsidies.
But a year after the plans were first drawn up, the four countries are yet to finalise plans even for a preliminary meeting. Concerns include China’s likely response, hesitation over including Taiwan in an intergovernmental forum, and longstanding tensions between South Korea and Japan.
