Competence and corruption are independent variables.

You can be competent while also being corrupt.

You can also be incorruptible while being incompetent.

All of the above applies to individuals and organizations.
Indeed. I would rather have incompetence than corruption at the top though. At least with incompetency, you can keep hope that the heart is in the right place and eventually someone will fix the mess.

With corruption though... forget it.

So my question would be (also taking into account my previous post about what corruption truly is), what do you think the Pakistani Military primarily is, incompetent or corrupted?

I am not talking about the common soldiers, and not about low rank officers. I am talking about the high-level hierarchy (not only COAS and his Corps commanders).

Imagine being a P5 member, having the 5th largest economy in the world and nuclear weapons but not being able to buy commercial goods without asking Americans. This is not allyship. This is being a subordinate.
This five hour shouting thing?
It's happening right now in Taiwan, over TSMC. Why do you think US politicans keep visiting the island, and then once they get there they always meet with TSMC bosses?
The fact that they are still doing it even now means Taiwan is still resisting giving up TSMC.

I have long suspected that the USA's real objection to Huawei wasn't so much that it would enable spying by the PRC but that it would not enable spying by USA/Five Eyes.

The vast majority of officers are not corrupt. Corruption is usually only a problem in rear-echelon support departments in any army. Most of the officers don't deal with financial stuff, only those who handle procurement or business related stuff.

Like I said, that problem will also naturally reduce if we had less of an infantry focus, as they'll need less real-estate development (which is a source of corruption.) But even those who are incorruptible resist change, that's incompetence. This inertia then causes a loss in combat capability as well. Most of this can be corrected by better officer education and training, but that requires major changes.

Looks like those mutts forgot to vaccinate themselves before exposing themselves to the rabies inducing MIC propaganda intended for the general population lol. I wouldn't even be surprised if CIA propagandists are starting to buy their own bullshit by now, getting high off their own supply. It's like a teacher making a kid scribble "seeseepee evil" over and over on a blackboard till they eventually believe it for real.

I'm surprised it needed 5 hours of shouting, holding out a treat would have been enough. If you look at the everchanging UK PMs of late then US has successfully kept UK destabilized enough for its needs.
