is mostly what poster's thoughts, the video doesn't not mentioned anything about AI and it apperantly the poster don't have much idea of how AI enhanced decision making process is like
Do you have any insight on such system working on 5th gen aircrafts then ? AI always seems like a kind of cool gimmick too me, until there are full-fledged AI based UAV/UGV that can fully operate on their own.

I actually disagree with what the Weibo post says. According to everything I heard, J-20 is really easy to fly due to all the improvement in human machine interface, automation and AI. Sure, they will have additional responsibility like controlling teaming UCAVs and other aircraft, but that probably will be offset by the less responsibility in the flying itself. And we know with J-20S joining service, it will have more of the distributed/mini-AWACS responsibilities than single seater.

It is referring to different operations. Being an aircraft, J20 is much simpler to control, but the large number of sensors and data chains that cause the pilot to have to process a lot of information and make decisions is where the challenge comes in. I think there is a need for AI to step in and filter and simplify the information to reduce the workload of the pilot.

Considering the fact that the J20 has all flying vertical stabilizers, all flying canards and all flying horizontal stabilizers the probability that a human pilot could successfully manually control it seems quite remote. I have seem quite remarkable videos of the J20 flying surfaces moving completely independently of each other, not interconnected at all, except electronically which probably explains how it can perform the maneuvers it can without needing to resort to vectored thrust engines.

J-20 is easy to handle as an airplane, but hard to operate as an aerial combat platform. That's what the pilot means.

There is a rumour that the sum of J20 will be up to 130~140 in the end of this year. And the J15T is under construction.
