Omen of bloodshed?
I would reword the title to its true meaning.
"Robbing somebody is one thing, sharing the spoil is another." Only robbers get to split the spoil, it is always like that.
A robber doesn't see anything wrong with robbery, a murderer doesn't see anything wrong with killing, a slave trader doesn't see anything wrong with slavery. It they have any sense of the wrong, they wouldn't have colonized Africa and Americas, nor would they fought the opium war and looted Yuan Ming Yuan.

Actually, now that I think about it, maybe it's an omen that Communism will take over the world.

Develop your own country and maybe you won't have to spend and park billions in countries that don't like you in the first place anyway.
