Depending on iteration. I think about the same bulk. Mostly what reminds me of it is the cameras on the flanks. It’s the same location
That said this was just plastic. It was a mock-up. The one displayed above probably has working components. As technology advanced a lot in the last 17 years.

I think people are alienating this Military Augmentation Combat System a bit too much the Helmet is nothing special it's all about the Goggles and It's attachments attached to the ACH Helmet meaning any Helmets with rails on the side and compatible with night vision goggles can utilize this system without the too much effort to replace already existing Ballistics.
