CCP clearly sensing the way the wind is blowing, Won't be long before Ukraine Army has thousands of HJ12s and UAF lots of WL-2. Wonder how many of the Putin fan-bois on here will change their colours too?
hahahaha, it's funny how you are on a forum about "China's armed forces", yet you have only seen this news now.
Humanitarian aid for Ukraine has been talked about in Chinese media since quite a few days ago already.

The fact that you immediately thought of HJ12 and WL-2, makes it look like your mental image of the state of affair that Ukraine is in now is dire and desperate. That's just tragic!

Please chill, this is simply too sad to see.

Ukraine war: British Army confirms 'a number' of soldiers have gone AWOL and may have travelled to fight Russia

Defence Secretary Ben Wallace says any serving members of the armed forces who go to fight in Ukraine would be breaking the law and would be prosecuted.

Prosecute Liz Truss as well.

Well on twitter they're quoting this as evidence:
The same video that people in this thread figured was a Su-34. To be fair though the video is so low in resolution that it could plausibly be Su-57, although I question why would RuAF send Su-57 into this war, unless it has really good and unexpected ground attack capabilities?

To dissuade any NATO Mig-29 “donation” from attempting to fly into Ukraine? If NATO attempts to fly these Mig-29 into Ukraine, the operation would undoubtedly receive AWAC and ground based radar support from inside NATO airspace. So Prospect of success in intercepting them over Ukraine may well require stealth.

Not sure what use an air superiority fighter would have in this conflict. I wonder why Russia hasn’t used any Su-24s though.

There is a targeting pod for the Su-57. But it should have worse payload than Su-34 especially with internal weapons only.
The main advantage of the Su-57 would be it would have less of a signature versus enemy ground radar.
But it would still be vulnerable to systems like the Osa. Future versions of Su-57 with Izd. 30 engine are supposed to have reduced IR signature but not the current model. It is more optimized for air to air combat than ground attack.

Probably because the Su-24 has low bombing precision and lackluster sensors. If they get into a more generalized bombing campaign they might use it. AFAIK there are some stationed at Crimea. One of them buzzed an US AEGIS destroyer in the Black Sea some years ago.

Putin's war is a "genius move" because it splits EU/US and crashes US economy because of high inflation risk and oil/gas sanctions backfiring?

This is some desperate attempt to backwards justify Putin's actions as 5D chess move. Putin likely did not anticipate the severity and uniformity of Western sanctions and anticipated a swift ceasefire and negotiations after a blitzkrieg. I personally think the economic sanctions endure is not worth it without annexing large amount territories or atleast installation of a puppet regime to have permanent veto over Ukraine foreign policy. Say hypothetically, if Putin only gets some neutrality treaty, LNR/DNR annexation, Crimean recognition, then it is hardly worth the sanctions imposed so far.
lol, this is really funny!
You're words seem visibly heated with emotion. And you have been ranting about this "blitzkrieg". It makes me imagine a certain character (with mustache) in a certain movie.

Sweetie, what "blitzkrieg" are you talking about? There are no way on earth do you conduct a "blitzkrieg" with just 200,000 men and just a few squadron of strike airplane on a land mass as big as Ukraine which has some two hundred thousand active standing army and additional two hundred thousand reserve forces.

Modern military don't do "blitzkrieg", dude. This ain't Wolfenstein, dude!! hahahahaha
You don't even prepare real "blitzkrieg" like this. Even before the war starts, what Russian forces has on the Ukrainian borders is NOT going to be able to do a "blitzkrieg".

Please, don't make me laugh anymore with your "blitzkrieg".

USAF sometimes have F-35 hang around the battlefield during exercises to take advantage of its situational awareness and act as miniature AWACs right? I know some of us might like to poopoo Russian avionics but perhaps they are sufficicently good that Su-57 could act in similar roles?

Maybe they could be good in SEAD roles, going in stealthy and taking out radars.

Zelensky's statement on Tuesday, in which he was interviewed by ABC, in which he stated that he had cooled to NATO membership because NATO in all reality wouldn't let Ukraine join because of fear of confrontation with Russia, as well as statement of reaching a compromise with regards to Crimea and the Donbass have almost been completely ignored by the American Mainstream Media. They have not covered those points.

Definitely hard to tell visually. The Su-57 has a very distinctive engine sound. Sounds like a banshee screaming.
