You mean this one?

Bizarre Russian tactics, I mean if you cant drive off the road due to the mud, then at least have infantry to cover both sides (+ front) of the road while advancing.

And just what would have infantry support been able to achieve in this scenario? Jump in front of the Javelin?

That one tank driving all by itself probably means it was acting as advanced scout, and to be frank, if there were dug in ATGM teams waiting in ambush, it’s better one tank found out about it rather than an entire column.

The best defence against ATGMs is APS, but that’s rare even in western tank forces. Although I am kinda curious how effective Chinese laser blinders like those featured on Type 99s might have been against ATGMs.

I am very very very sceptical about the laser thing on 99a. Its supposed to burn out seekers. Then again the PLAA have HJ-10 and HJ-12 in their inventory. Lets see if it can burn out the imager.

I just saw a video in which President Zelensky was interviewed by the American Channel ABC (Yesterday), in which he strongly suggested that Ukraine will give up trying to join NATO because NATO is in reality unwilling to permit Ukraine to join NATO due to NATO not wanting to have a confrontation with Russia with regards to the issue. He also stated that with regards to the status of Crimea and the Donbass Region, Ukraine is willing to have discussions towards a compromise.
[3/9, 10:49] Musa Airtel: Russia two days ago made three explicit demands in return for peace via the Kremlin Chief Spokesman:

- The neutrality of Ukraine
- Recognition of Crimea as part of Russia
- Recognition of the independence of Luhansk and Donetsk...

Russia should also demand that Ukraine is banned from joining the EU.

As we have seen, the EU is a US puppet, so by telling it to don't join NATO and allowing it to join the EU, it doesn't make sense.

In any case, whatever happens, I have already said in previous posts what I would consider a strategic win or defeat of Russia in a final peace deal

Ukraine must be banned from joining ANY BLOC! Be it NATO / OTAN / EU / any other bloc that may be created in the future!

I guess the territory of Ukraine will be changed a lot esp. in the Donbass region, losing access to the Sea of Azov, perhaps the Black Sea too... and Dmitry Orlov said, the control of the Dnieper River must be in hand of the force friendly to Russia (DPR), this control will ensure the agricultural interests of the Donbass and ensure the western Ukraine won't turn into a hostile force to Russia for good! There will also be some land bridge to the Transnistria region.

Kiev will have much less to bargain when its main military force currently under complete cauldron situation in the Donbass be neutralized. that force is the backbone of the Ukrainian military force! So keep on watching for the next several days. The outcome of this Donbass cauldron will determine the political process. Watch The Duran segment dated 09 March elaborated this matter.

I'd imagine he'll be happy to substitute NATO membership for EU membership.
The trouble is, the Ukraine was a poor & corrupt nation before this war started and it'll only be worse now as their infrastructure is being slowly raised to rubble.

I highly doubt Germany, France or even members like Poland, Hungary would want Ukraine to be admitted in the state they will be in after this war. The reunification of east Germany cost a lot and there was a much smaller economic disparity there and no war to clean up after.

So Zelensky will have to accept no NATO, no EU, and territorial concessions (Crimea, LPR, DPR) if he wants peace right now. The problem here is that he's built much of his image in standing up to Russia and Ukrainian propaganda has lead to most Ukrainians under the impression they are winning (70%+ according to a recent poll). So this peace deal will be seen as a massive betrayal and people will be coming for him with pitchforks. I don't think the Russian offer is sincere, but that's another matter.

Zelensky's only winning moves are to pull NATO into the conflict against their will. Maybe fake a gas attack like Syria, or find evidence of Uyghur-style fake concentration camps in Russian controlled territory.
Alternatively he could try turning Ukraine into Chechnya or Afghanistan where Russians get bored of killing Ukrainians by the tens of thousands and decide it's not worth it. I don't see either of those happening.
