Looks like this.

It looks like the perfect weapon to menace your neighbor's DJI drone.

Those damn Ukrainians have found another way to get brownie points in the Western media, by destroying their own heritage and blame it on Russians. Bunch of despicable scumbags!![]()
We do, have a look at who was being shelled at the airport:Do we have any evidence that point towards the Ukrainians being responsible for its destruction?
We do, have a look at who was being shelled at the airport:
The big shed in the background is dedicated to sheltering AN-225, what remains of the plane is under there, you can make out the nose of the plane on the ground.
They should already had the opportunity years ago in Syria, as some Foreign SOF there apparently bring in Korean raybolt or from Yemen.
But for some reason Russians never seem to be interested in fire and forget ATGM's
I think because of two factors. One, the Russians incorrectly didn't believe in such systems. Second, they have not had the experience of getting shot at by these things.I imagine the cost might have been the main factor.
If they wanted too attack ATGMs off the shelf, there were plenty of Chinese options for years.
I do hope that one of the longer term impacts of this conflict is that the Russian military swallow their pride and but clearly superior Chinese weapons where they are desperately needed instead of trying to do everything in house themselves.

Russian forces displaying captured advanced Western weaponry from Ukraine. From left to right: FIM-92 Stinger dual-mount, NLAW, and the famous FGM-148 Javelin. Since Russia lacks top-attack fire-and-forget ATGMs, the capture of NLAW and Javelin samples provides a nice boost in reverse-engineering technology for their own domestic ATGM manufacturers. We might expect them to produce Russian versions of such systems in a few years time.
Since first day of the war Russians have been holding Antonov Airport. As you can see it seems to be still in Russian hands as we have Russian reporter on site reporting afterwards. It stands to reasons that it was Ukrainian artillery that destroyed An-225, along with all the other Russian vehicles clearly marked with V nearby.Yeah but was that Russian or Ukrainian artillery? Both sides were fighting over Hostomel airfield so it could've been from either side.
