That and don't use any payment platforms involving google or PayPals. Also expect VISA and AMEX credit cards to be useless. (All of which China had anticipated long ago tbf, since it has already reached an incredible level of self-sufficiency in system development.)
The most important lesson from the Russo-Ukraine War for China should be to get out of the dollar now!

By "mass casualties" are they referring to civilian casualties?

If yes, then call it what it is.

Why are these people hiding behind vague terms?

The fact that these people are afraid to even say it, and yet are casually suggesting that professional soldiers should be okay with carrying out atrocities and war crimes, says a lot.

I think it's admirable that the Russian military tried to minimize casualties in the first days.

I wonder Russia did not use so many long range guided MLRS in the initial assault. They fill a nice nice between ballistic missile and unguided rockets and are so much cheaper than missiles.

Having taken Kherson, one strategy they can deploy is to push up the Dnieper river on both sides. This would enable them to encircle the large cities along the river without taking them and quickly cut Ukraine in half, but first, they seem to focus on taking the remaining territories along the coast, Mycolaiv and Odessa.

Hmm, seems like they're going for a landlocking of Ukraine.

Not applicable to China. Taiwan is too small and dense, it's all or nothing.

They aim to take all of Ukraine. This is just military strategy of what comes first.

What is applicable to Taiwan is to quickly isolate the island into pockets and deal with them one by one as resources becomes available.
