I know its hard with so much deliberate disinformation being put out, but please try to keep contact with reality.
NATO has been supplying and training the Ukrainian Army since 2015.
The forces in the East have been dug in, in very well prepared defenses all that time and with all the talk of constant invasion coming out of the US since November, plenty of time to dig in even deeper since then.
It is these defenses that Russia has been engaging since it moved in last week, which is fully in line with the De-militarisation objective it has been set. As theses defenses were very close to the border, this is where the fight has been and why the advance has not been lightening.
After only a week, we are seeing these well prepared, well manned and well defended positions being breached and now Russian forces starting their encirclements in the Donbass.
In addition, with rapid advances in the South, Isolating Mariupol and to the West flanking Odessa to the North, heading towards the border with Transdinistria, we have a very real prospect of Ukraine becoming, effectively, a land locked country within a matter of days.
This and the securing of the overland water supply for the Crimea are big strategic achievements.

@SampanViking Sir welcome back, unfortunately you're MIA BUT nonetheless thanks for the explanation, Sir with Ukraine asking China to broker a negotiation, will these mark the day China ascension in the world stage? will the US sabotaged the talk? and IF there is a peaceful resolution will the collective West accept it?

These are all the million dollar questions and I can do little bar state the obvious.
China is undoubtedly the only global power, trusted and respected by both Russia and Ukraine.
Russia will certainly respect an agreement brokered through China, as China would be putting its reputation on the line and Russia will not want to disrespect this and damage these important relations.
Ukraine would for this reason be able to have confidence in any such deal that China brokered, as Russian good faith would be all but assured.
Therefore, in a situation where Russia is the Applicant, Ukraine the Supplicant and China the broker, the deal should hold.
As to the NATO powers and there input, all I can say is that if they are acting in good faith, they would accept the deal and look to uphold it, if however they act in bad faith, they would reject and seek to undermine it.
THis all assumes that Ukraine is still functioning as an independant autonomous state as opposed to a NATO vassal as appeared to be the case post 2014.
Given that Ukraine cheated China out of Motor Sich, confidence in Ukraine is low.
